 Introducing Die MAUS

Current issues

Collection of family histories and biographies
A research group constantly works on the content of our more than 2500 "Graue Mappen" (grey folders containing numerous family research informations) in order to provide a searchable database.

Funeral books 1875-1975
The funeral books, run by the Bremen authorities since 1875, a very helpful source, are already evaluated as far as 1968.

Index of the Bremen registry office
Another project in progress is the transcription of the registry office index since 1875.

The latest document versions are online available under "DATA COMPILATIONS"
